Broward County is a community that rolls up its sleeves and comes together after a crisis like Hurricane Irma.
That's why the Community Foundation of Broward, Jewish Federation of Broward County, and United Way of Broward County formed a strategic collaboration called Broward Cares.
During Hurricane Irma, we jointly raised money to support post-storm recovery, as well as efforts to ensure our most vulnerable residents are prepared before the next big storm comes our way.
The Community Foundation of Broward knows and understands our community’s needs. We can help you create a charitable Fund in your name that ensures every dollar you give creates a BOLD impact on the issues you care about most - like hurricane preparedness and recovery.
Broward County is one of 5 winners of the 2019 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation "Culture of Health Award"
